Exceptions to this arrangement occur when symbols and holdings from one or both of the supplements or new locations were not too numerous and were transferred in manuscript to the listing in the second edition; and vice verse in the transferring of holdings in the second edition to a corrected form of entry appearing in one of the supplements.
